I have been made aware that I have not been posting much poetry recently. Now, I do actually have quite a few things that I have written that I haven’t yet uploaded so, over this weekend, I will go through them and see what is suitable for upload. With a lot of luck, I may even write some more, not sure whether it will be humorous or serious, I guess I’ll just have to wait and see where the mood takes me. The trouble is, as with songs, it’s far easier to write a sad song than it is to write a happy one. Before anyone says anything, I am perfectly happy in my perfect little life. I get to choose when I work and I have a beautiful wife and dog to share my life with. I genuinely couldn’t ask for anything more. There has always been a melancholy side to me, I don’t know why, there just is. I don’t like to dwell on it for too long otherwise I end up feeling down and can never seem to get myself out of it very quickly! Anyway, I just wanted you all to know that there is more poetry coming, I just need to get it sorted out!
