As some of you know, we went away on Friday for a short break to sunny Wales! We went to a place called Resilient Woodlands Retreat which is 2 secluded cabins set in the middle of nowhere! when we arrived on the Friday, we had a lovely relaxing evening, just chilling out, drinking cups of tea and reading. We were so knackered that we were fast asleep by about 9pm!!

On the Saturday we took Bob Dog for a walk around Lydney Harbour, which is a really lovely spot, with free parking to boot! After a very long walk, where Bob Dog played with lots of other dogs, we headed for lunch at The Globe Inn, Alvington, where we had a superb meal served by lovelier people. Just down the road from this beautiful little inn, we found Taurus Crafts which is a large area with lots of free parking and loads of different craft shops all on one site! We managed to find lots of different things that we liked, including a shop that sold lots of our favourite childhood sweets, and much more besides. After our crafty purchases, we headed back to base, where we jumped into our wood-fired hot tub, and had a fantastic evening meal under the stars before jumping into bed around 10pm!! 

This morning we headed home and, once we were all unpacked, we went to a nearby pub for a gorgeous roast dinner followed by an even nicer dessert, before heading home for a relaxing evening by the fire! Perfect!!
