Every now and again I go through all of my possessions and decide which ones I no longer need. Some things I sell on marketplace-type websites, some I give to charity and some stuff I give to friends. For example, my late father was a superb artist and, as such, collected hundreds of paints both acrylic and enamel. One of my friends paints military miniatures whilst another does lots of arts and crafts. One received about £450 worth of paints, whilst the other received just shy of about £850 worth of paints and brushes!!

Tonight, Rachel and I, along with the not so helpful Bob Dog, sorted through all our old CDs. Out of about 800, we have kept around 300 and have decided to sell the rest via online selling sites and other sources.

Tomorrow, I am going to go through all my books and other bits and pieces, clothes etc. and will also sell them on some second hand sites. I went through a stupid phase of buying quite expensive items from places such as All Saints, Fat Face, Trojan etc. and now regret spending so much money, so I have now made a conscious effort to buy all of my clothes second hand. Talking of second hand, I have bought quite a few signed books recently and can now add, Gyles Brandreth, Lisa Jewell and Matthew Mcconaughy to my ever-growing collection!

##Breaking News## – I have started writing a new book! I can’t say anything at all about it as I think it is a really strong idea, but I will keep you updated with my progress as I go along.

Hope you are all keeping well and keeping cool as best you can in this weather!!

Love & Light
