Well that was very quick and very easy! So, as mentioned yesterday, I contacted the music store that I deal with and although they offered me a great part exchange price on my digital piano, it still meant that I would have to pay more than I wanted to for a new synth. Coupled with the fact that the Jupiter 80 has already been discontinued, and it doesn’t bode well! There are a couple of new Roland synths out there, all with differing names, letters and numbers but, at the end of the day, I have decided to stick with my trusty digital piano. It doesn’t owe me any money, doesn’t cost me any money and, to be perfectly honest, I think I need to concentrate more on my piano skills at the moment. I think I should be improving them before I look at getting into the world of synths and programming again. There are so many great piano songs out there to learn to play, and I think that’s honestly where I need to start.
Right! Time to go surfing for some musical inspiration!
