In an earlier post on this website, I posted a poem entitled ‘The ‘edge’og’. What I didn’t mention at the time was that ‘The ‘edge’og’ was part of a trilogy of very short animal poems. Here is the second poem in that trilogy, and I shall be posting the final poem tomorrow.
Five little squirrels,
sitting on the road-side,
sorting out the nuts from kerb-side junk.
Along comes a motor car,
racing round the corner,
ga-dunk, ga-dunk, ga-dunk, ga-dunk, ga-dunk!!
